Jakarta Bintangs Australian Football Club runs a weekly community based Australian Rules Football clinic (Auskick) at the Australian International School (AIS) Secondary Campus in Pejatan. The clinic is taken by Lee Van Gills from the Jakarta Bintangs AFC. Lee is the AFL Development Coordinator and works on the Australian Indonesian Institute (AII) sponsored program of Australian Rules Football in Indonesia, through Ausaid as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development (AYAD). The clinic is open to all children 5 - 12 years old, and is held every Tuesday 3.15 - 4.15pm, during school term time. Each new participant will receive an Auskick pack which includes; an Auskick backpack, junior football, Auskick magazines, a hat, a drink bottle and a skills poster. The cost per term is 200,000Rp per student. Usually 8-9 weeks each term. Each student will need to bring their own shorts, t-shirt, sneakers and hat.
