Robert Baldwin had a dream. Not the usual one about the famous Indonesian actress turning up in his shower, the other one about building a park for the youth of Indonesia to have the chance to play football ‘the Australian way’. Baldwin Park in the wilds of Bogor and hills of Pancawati is now a reality. Baldy, as he is affectionately known without reference to follicle challenges, is the Sultan of Pancawati and has gathered together a number of villages around Desa Pancawati to provide a sporting alternative for the youth of the area. He has garnered support from the local authorities and now with some financial assistance from Kabelvision, the football surface (80m long by 40m wide) is nearly ready for full scale practice and games

Rankling at the spectre of a Kiwi becoming the father figure in Indonesian Footy, Andi M Dyah, Collingwood supporter, former player with the Bintangs and Chief Executive at Graha Bintangs, has pulled together his own group of kids from the Depok area and they train weekly. Not to be outdone, Dave Kainey has had the kids (including 2 sisters from Brazil !) of the International Bogor School in a rigourous Kennedy-like training regime that has seen them rise to the top of the milk bottle. And so are the beginnings of the Java Australian Football League 2003 U15, with six team: Pancawati Tigers, Depok Garudas, Cipare Stags, Pancawati Panthers, Pondok Cina Lions and Maduhur Hawks.
